Mow Fescue and Bluegrass short at Thanksgiving

If you have a Fescue or Bluegrass lawn, be sure to mow it short (1 1/2 - 2 inches) around Thanksgiving. If it is still growing, mow it again before Christmas so that it overwinters at 1 1/2 - 2 inches.

These mowings ensure the lawn overwinters well.
