Good Things for Those Who Wait

Original Photo is Here.

I think you all remember this post, wherein I lamented about my inability to grow anything because little critters were munching down on the seeds.

This week, however, I noticed several more sweet peas starting to come up, and realized I may have been a bit premature.

Now, I am once again eagerly awaiting the blooms from my sweet pea experiment.

My husband inherited his parents home and before she passed away, my mother in law planted sweetpeas. Now I have these little beauties all over...including in my lawn!
I want to transplant them to a different area but I am unsure how to do this. Do I use the seeds they cast off and if so, do I soak them before planting? Or can I transplant the flower itself and if so what is the best time of year to do this?
I love your site! It has lots of information and just enough humor to make it down to earth!! Thanks!!
